Reviews Policy

The public contribution form accepts a rating and written feedback, or a longer personal story. A public submission alone does not prove a purchase. Approved community stories are labelled separately and never enter verified product rating averages.

You can display your first name, your first name and last initial, or an anonymous name. Your contact name and email remain private. Photos and videos are optional, including for a story without a photograph.

The proposed quarterly Real Story prize comprises free pole tips, a £50 M&S gift voucher and a choice of an Activator Rehab video course worth £50. Prize entry is optional and only opens when the competition terms are published. It never requires a favourable review or a particular number of stars. Published stories submitted as prize entries disclose that fact.

Declaring health details requires explicit permission to publish them. Permission to publish the story and permission for its media are separate choices, all unticked initially. Files stay private while they are checked and moderated.

After submitting, save your private management link. It lets you withdraw the whole story, health permission or media permission. Story or health withdrawal removes the public story immediately; media withdrawal removes the media from the public story. Storage copies are removed by the scheduled cleanup after active upload and publication leases have ended. Previously downloaded or cached copies may take longer to disappear.

Abandoned story upload sessions expire after two hours and are cleaned after their upload permissions end. Rejected community source records are deleted after 12 months; withdrawn stories and submissions still awaiting moderation are deleted after 24 months. Published source records remain while their stories are published. A legal hold pauses source deletion. The table below describes the separate verified purchase review records.

We may send neutral review invitations 30, 45 and 60 days after an eligible order is dispatched. The schedule uses the shipping date, not the purchase date. Course-only and accessory-only purchases are not eligible.

A secure order-specific link confirms the eligible product. Customers may submit one review per order. Receiving an invitation does not guarantee publication.

An approved product review shows the rating, title, moderated review text, verified product, publication date and a public name made from the customer's first name and last initial. We do not publish their email, full surname or order number.

Product averages and review counts are calculated from published verified product reviews only. The visible reviews and any structured rating information use the same records.

Reviews shown on the homepage or health pages are selected examples chosen by a moderator; they are not presented as a representative sample of every customer review.

Publishing a health connection and publishing photos or video each require separate explicit consent. Those choices are unticked by default and can be withdrawn independently.

A review can appear on a health page only while the matching health connection has active explicit consent. Media is first stored privately and is made public only after approval and active media consent.

The secure review link lets a customer request removal, withdraw health consent or withdraw media consent. Affected public content is disabled before private cleanup. Repeating a withdrawal request is safe.

Unsubscribing applies to review-request emails only. Essential service emails about orders, shipping, refunds, security and accounts remain enabled. A verified email complaint also suppresses future review invitations to that address.
